Alan Moyle | APP M.Photog II
Photography has been a passion of mine since the 5th grade, I upgraded cameras regularly through primary school by dropping them of boats or losing them on bush walks. When I grew up I "borrowed" my dad's camera and did a night class at a different school because mine didn't offer photography. I was eventually kicked out of the other school because I kept sneaking into their darkrooms when I wasn't supposed to be there. Since then I ended up going to RMIT and getting a degree in scientific and medical photography which I put to no use at all moving into the wedding and portrait field.

James Simmons | APP M.Photog I
I’m a fine art / wedding photographer with a strong love for photojournalism. I love telling stories and that is what drew me to wedding photography. I’m relaxed and fun, I don’t take myself too seriously and I have the utmost respect for people, family and culture. Passing on good quality information to others is another passion of mine. Teaching is in my blood, both my parents are teachers and I enjoy telling a good story. I tutor a class one night a week at Edith Cowan University in Digital Photo media and get immense joy from seeing students succeed. I have grown up by the beaches in regional Western Australia, have been around the world twice in search of perfect surf, snow and images, broke both my arms, worked in viticulture, stage production and mining. I love adventure and love being adventurous with my photography. I’m passionate about creating the best images I can.

David Summerhayes | APP.L M.Photog I
I was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1960 and from an early age I had always been fascinated by images drawn, painted or photographed. My education lead me to study architectural graphics before photography took over my life. Although I studied commercial photography, I now mainly work in the quite technical field of Medical and Scientific photography at a leading teaching hospital in Adelaide, South Australia. Running parallel to this I am equally known as a South Australian Fine Art and Landscape Photographer.

Kelly Tunney | APP M.Photog I
Born and raised in Canberra, the current hotbed of fine photography in Australia. Kelly Tunney originally followed a traditional path, but a couple of years working as a public servant soon cured her of that.
After deciding that the clarinet was not her way to fame and fortune (no, that realisation didn’t come on band camp), Kelly decided that photography was her way to be awesome, and it’s been her life ever since.
Her images embody the way she relates to the world – they’re candid, honest, fearless and warm; and they always manage to find the amazing in everyone.
Kelly relishes in the agony and ecstasy of imagining and creating contrasts to play with in her images. She secretly enjoy the rush that comes with the fear of pushing boundaries as far as they can be moved. Even though she’s kind of short, don’t let that fool you, it just means that she gets a better angle on the world than everyone else. Kelly is also the current 2015 ACT Wedding Photographer of the Year.

Hilary Wardhaugh | APP.L M.Photog III
I am a portrait photographer based in the Canberra region. I have been shooting people for 15 years! In fact I am a Master at it. But seriously; I love photography, my business and am very passionate about our industry. I have been judging at a national level since 2003 and mentoring Emerging photographers for the last two years. I get quite emotional when judging images especially if there is a strong narrative. I learn so much from looking and assessing photography and have a good background in the history and the arts.
