You’re invited to the live judging of the country’s largest and most prestigious awards for professional print photography, which will be held at the Melbourne Olympic Park Function Centre, Batman Ave, on August 25, 26 and 27, 8 am – 6 pm.

It is FREE to attend on all three days and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – all you need to do is show up and enjoy.

There will be 5 judging rooms running simultaneously, with professional prints across 16 genres presented one-by-one in front of a panel of professional judges.
You'll be able to observe their critiquing from an audience section directly behind them.

The Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA), have been running annually for the past 40 years. The APPAs are the largest awards for professional print photography in Australia and one of the largest in the world. It is the only professional photography awards in the country that require physical prints to be submitted for judging. 

The Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) founded in 1963, it is the country’s only photographic membership body.
